Christopher’s passion for teaching art is a new addition to his talents. For some time now he has been watching the growing need to promote art as an outlet for creativity and expression for both young and old. In 2009 he and his wife, a primary teacher, were asked to develop an art program for the local elementary school. Since then he as gone on to educate many people, young and old, in his studio and throughout the community. He is now looking to expand his program to include teaching elders at the local hospital as well as other community agencies.

He hopes his passion will encourage, empower and inspire teachers, children and adults to share the pleasures of art in their daily lives.

Christopher has since been nominated for a provincial Education in Art award in 2010.
