Pastels are Christopher’s first and still favourite form of artwork. He was introduced to the medium while working on a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program at the University of Alberta and has continued to craft this medium. He has continued to draw with the chalk and has produced a range and style that is quite unique. His topics are generally local images of nature but he has done some portraits and still life as well. Below are some samples from his portfolio.
